Description: Akkeshi “Hakuro – Glistening White Dew” Single Malt Whisky is the 12th release in the 24 Seki series from Hokkaido’s Akkeshi Distillery, crafted to reflect the transition from summer into early autumn. Distilled from 100% malted barley, double-distilled in Forsyth copper stills, and matured for a minimum of three years in a blend of ex-bourbon, red wine, ex-sherry and Hokkaido mizunara oak casks, this bottle carries deep expression of place and season. On the nose you’ll discover sandalwood, honeyed pastry cream and freshly baked bread, with a subtle smoky peat edge. The palate unfolds generous layers of persimmon, bittersweet chocolate, black tea and incense-tinged smoke, all balanced by a clean, crisp finish featuring white pepper and citrus peel — a beautifully refined and layered Japanese single malt that evokes the morning dew on silver grass.
