Description
The Carneros Pinot Noir shows an enticing red burgundy color and offers beautiful bright red fruit aromas of Queen Anne cherry and cranberry with notes of white pepper, cardamom and molasses. This is a smooth wine with elegant flavors of bright raspberry and strawberry that culminate in a long, lingering finish.
High intensity. Strawberries, vanilla, toffee, coconut, ripe cherry, chocolate, cinnamon & capers capers. Fruit, oak and vegetation. Great intensity. Looks: Medium dense red. Typical new world Pinot Noir. Mouthfeel: Dry but juicy. ABV is 14,5% which is high but quite well integrated. Obviously very ripe fruit. Caramel and custard on the palate. Great value. Great example of new world PN. Grape variety: 100% Pinot Noir. Manual harvest at night. 8 months in French & Hungarian oak, 33% were new. 4,2
