Description
Broad, ripe black fruit and spice aromas, with notes of pepper, toasty vanilla and Mediterranean scrub. On the palate, the wine has a robust, concentrated character, a firm structure, and small black fruit and licorice notes on the aftertaste.
Piluna is the ancient name that the linguistic enclave Grica gave to the tuff pots, archaic containers of these lands; mysterious and ancient is also the primitive vine, which in this area of Puglia, rich in tufaceous rocks, gives wines with a strong personality and strength. Part of the wine ages for six months in barrique, the rest remains in steel, once assembled, you get a wine with good aging potential, fruity and Mediterranean soul.
