Description
This wine is austere, more structured than fruity. It has dry tannins and stalky fruit flavors, with medium acidity. Plenty of spicy and toasty oak on offer here with underlying plum aromas and flavors. A very fresh palate with great depth and detail.
60% CF, 40% Merlot Dried cherry and dried cranberry nose. Body is earthy and bright with tart cherry jam, a little pepper, and stemmy blackberry. The finish is long with dominant black fruit.
