Château Gombaude-Guillot, Pomerol 750ML

This 2016 Château Gombaude-Guillot, partly aged in amphorae, is a fruit bomb… and much more! The intro is explosive, with cherry and blueberry in the foreground and hints of leather and dried fruits in supporting roles. A complex nose, which gives way to a full and supple mouthfeel, between black fruits and sweet spices. A large-scale Bordeaux, held by tannins that give it straightforwardness and definition. Character and joy!
