Description

The Vintage 2009 develops on the nose fragrances of guava and the zest of green spicygrapefruit, along with notes of stone fruit, white peach and nectarine. After stirring slightly, the wine reveals touches of woody vanilla and warm, lightly toasted brioche.

On the palate, the wine is fruity, ripe, fleshy and of great depth. Rich and voluptuous, the Dom Pérignon Vintage 2009 is extremely consistent, with perfectly contained power. There’s a subtle power to this graceful Champagne, which boasts a firm, crystalline frame of acidity married to the fine, satinlike mousse and notes of white raspberry, brioche and Earl Grey tea. Seamless through to the long finish of smoke and spice accents, this opens beautifully in the glass.
