Concentrated aromas of black cherry, violet and vanilla open to an inviting mouthfeel. The palate is bold, layered, and silky with black fruit notes balanced by an impressive tannin structure.

The finish is long and lively with sweet oak and vanilla nuances. 2014 was an excellent vintage in Sonoma County. A relatively early start to the growing season was ofset by moderate temperatures and consistently dry, warm days which allowed even ripening of the grapes”
