This single malt is part of The Balvenie Stories series from the Speyside distillery. This expression recounts the tale of how Malt Master David Stewart discovered the perfect match between heather and barley. Aged for 19 years and bottled at a strength of 48.7% abv, this is the fourth release in The Balvenie Stories.

A 19-year-old single malt made with and of materials from the Balvenie grounds themselves, The Edge Of Burnhead Wood is the sixth instalment in the Balvenie Stories series. It is a robust single malt with delicate fig, orange and honey notes, accompanied a light spice and a backbone of toasted oak.
