Description
A brilliant deep red with a slight purple hue, this memorable blend of red Rhône varieties offers heady aromas of dark fruit, black pepper and cedar box. Complex flavors of black currant, plums, black pepper and mushrooms are layered over herbaceous notes of oregano and bay leaf.
The palate is medium-bodied with soft tannins and a lingering finish. The Butler will continue developing layers of character with an additional five to ten years of cellaring.
Blend: 77% Syrah, 15% Petite Sirah, 7% Mourvedre, 1% Viognier
