Description
Since 1897, by way of the Bottled in Bond Act, whiskies labeled “Bottled in Bond” have adhered to a specific set of rules and regulations put in place to protect the integrity of a distiller’s product and guarantee its quality. To be labeled Bottled in Bond,” distillers must adhere to the following regulations: the whiskey must be produced at a single distillery by one distiller in a single distilling season; it must be aged for a minimum of four years in oak barrels in a Federally Bonded warehouse; no additives, colors or flavors can be added; and it must be bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV). Boondocks Bottled in Bond Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey is proud to be produced with the same exacting regulations put in place over 100 years ago and continue the legacy of quality American Whiskey.
