High-toned aromas of spiced currant and red plum are underpinned by baking spice and sawdust on the nose. This is taut and drawing in the palate, with a sauced red-berry flavor pervading throughout. A slick of acidity gives levity on the midpalate, while the close brings a firm tannic bite.
