What a great combination here of dried fruit, leather and cedar and brighter aromas of pressed lavender and herbs. It’s certainly got power and punch, but the tannins are reserved and polished, the acidity colorful and vertical. A contrasty, tense style that keeps you on your toes throughout the drinking experience.
