The renowned elegance of Volpaia’s wines are due to the estate’s high altitude and very special terrain. Thanks to the very wide excursion between day and night temperatures, the grapes ripen slowly allowing the wine to develop a complex and elegant bouquet. Volpaia’s Chianti Classico is an intense ruby red with evident notes of red berries and preserved cherries. It is well structured and smooth with a very fruity aftertaste. Contains sulphites.
This very elegant and smooth wine comes from the highest vineyard in the Chianti Classico area, it respects all the territory’s traditional values while being produced by using state of the art organic farming methods.
