Description
After a very careful selection of our grapes of Garnacha planted on soils of slate -llicorella-, Carinena vineyards grow on clay soils and Syrah vineyards located on limestone soils, a very limited production of this exclusive wine is obtained after 18 months of maturing in French oak barrels.
GSM (Grenache, Syrah, Mazuelo) done beautifully. Dark in color with a nose of blackberry, raspberry and a drizzle of balsamic. There is an earthiness and a lot of rocky minerals. A spicy long finish with a hint of vanilla. Nice medium plus rounded tannins and a great food friendly acidity. This wine straddles modern and traditional Spanish well with a controlled oxidative quality.
