Description
The 2016 Plan de Dieu from Château Du Trignon opens to a beautiful bouquet with aromas of black and blue fruits, cracked black pepper, wild herbs, tar, and violets all emerging from the glass. It is full-bodied with lots of savory flavors backed by delicious pure dark fruits and some dark chocolate on the supple finish.
This is an easy drinking red that is showing well today and should continue to flourish over the next five years. Pair with charcuterie, BBQ and heartier dishes.
