Very bold and full-bodied. Velvet in texture and rich flavors of blackberry and a cream mixed with a hint of licorice. The finish was long and made you want to have just “one more sip”. Fantastic!
Long staying but subtle power, good temperament. Can age for quite a few more years – 1+ hour of decanting still fell way short
A truly spectacular wine. Perfectly balanced with a wonderful nose, a deep dark pour, and heavenly palate. Went perfectly with the cheese board but rather suspect it would go well with anything. In my top ten and obviously a great vintage too
