Beautiful nose of black currant and wood. Really silky smooth tannin and heaps of ripe fruit on the palate. Easy drinking. Totally worth revisiting!
Very good Bordeaux from Pauillac. Deep purplish ruby red in color. Medium intensity aromas of black currant, blackberries, blueberries, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, charred wood, cedar, toast, and some tertiary aromas of forest floor and mushrooms. Dry, medium plus racy acidity, medium plus soft silky tannins, medium alcohol. Rounded and structured
Clean, balanced and still evolving. On the nose: plums, spices, and dried meat. Some of the same notes on the taste but additional vanilla and leather. Really good bottle and can be aged for at least ten more years.
