Pomerol, Bordeaux, France- “A toasted, showy style, with layers of warmed vanilla bean and fruitcake out front, backed by fleshy plum sauce and red licorice notes. Should be a crowd-pleaser.
Beautiful dark-fruit and wet-stone aromas follow through to a medium body, integrated and polished tannins and a fresh, fruity finish. Always a mineral undertone to this. Drink in 2019.
Lots of mineral, flower and blueberry character in this. Full body, with silky tannins and a juicy, lemon rind finish. Stylish for the vintage.
