Description
Deep, dark, opaque ruby-red color. Restrained dark-fruit aromas have earthy, weedy & liquorice aromas. Dark fruit on the palate is overwhelmed by gripping tannins that are fine & earthy.
These are drying & have little suppleness. There are leafy notes to the fruit & the oak gives toastiness. Alcohol is balanced & the finish is long, with good freshness.
