Medium to deep, purple-red color. Aromas are of ripe, stewed-prune fruit & chocolate notes. The palate displays lively, juicy, ripe black-cherry fruit with chocolate & licorice notes that last until fine tannins take over at the end.
Acidity is lively & there is a touch of over-ripeness that pairs with warming alcohol & chocolatey notes to give a smooth finish.
