Description
The wine is very aromatic, with a lively personality and responsiveness one finds again and again through all the vintages.
The 2016 Caillou Blanc from Château Talbot is a blend of 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Sémillon matured in 50% new oak. It has a well defined bouquet with freshly squeezed lime, tangerine and orange cordial – simple but effective.
The palate is well balanced with a smooth, quite creamy, quite leery entry (this is never racked) with a fresh, lightly spiced finish.
