Description
Gilles Ballorin started their domain from the bottom i 2007 with not more than a half hector in Chenôve just north of Marsannay. Today they have a rag rug of microscopic allotments spread over Fixin, Marsannay (Les Amourex and Clos du Roy), Nuits-St-Georges (les Damodes) and Morey (Tres Girard). Very expressive terrois which the couple cultivates 100% biodynamic.
Fuji apple, asian pear and nutmeg on the nose. Full bodied with spicy undertones. Feels like biting into an apple crisp, with a pie dough finish.
