Description
A blend of Macabeo, Xarel.lo and ParelladaFreixenet produces its sparkling wines in the traditional méthode champenoise, aging Carta Nevada Brut for nine months in the ‘cavas,’ the caves from which they take their name. Embracing double fermentation, the second fermentation takes place in the bottle as the wine ages on the lees. Through the process, Freixenet sets the stage for a generous mousse and continuous stream of fine bubbles upon opening.
Aging: Aged 10-18 months
The perfect brunch beverage, Carta Nevada Brut is a fabulous accompaniment in a fruity cocktail, with Asian food, small-plate meals, light sandwiches, or green salads.
