Description
The terroir of Corbières stretches from the Pyrenees to the Montagne Noire and encompasses a kaleidoscope of soil types. This wine was grown in gravelly clay and limestone, spent eight months in oak barrels and positively leaps from the glass with intense woodsmoke, cherry, blueberry and blackberry jelly, and cracked pepper.
It’s broad and robust on entry with a lightly chewy, spicy mid-palate and finish. Drink through 2020 with blackened burgers and polenta fries.
