En magnum. The 743 cuvée is based on the 2015 vintage – a varied year in Champagne that required meticulous attention. The Chiquet brothers are constantly fine-tuning, and this year aged the wine on lees under cork rather than crown cap with two additional months aging in oak. The result is even more complex than previous releases. A classic apple and brioche nose opens up to a hint of almond skins, Chantilly cream and dried ginger – with an elegance and length that is unparalleled.
