Deep garnet red, 14.7% alcohol, medium plus acid, medium plus tannins. Opens with soil, earthy mushroom, concentrated blackberry, cassis, vanilla tobacco and baking spice. Palette offers rich deep concentrated dark fruit, cigar tobacco, dusty earth, clay, and stone minerals. Finish is long with structured tannins, balanced acidity and dark fruit though to the end.
