The La Mozza I Perazzi Morellino di Scansano is characterized by notes of juicy dark fruit that mix on the palate with hints of spice licorice. The lively sensation of ripe cherry its soft texture make it an ideal match for Mediterranean dishes and grilled meats.
All aware of the enormous potential of the Maremma region of southwest Tuscany, Joe and Lidia Bastianich and Chef Mario Batali formed La Mozza in 2000. They came together to create a new winery with a modern mission: To express this terroir to the fullest with new and exciting grape varieties. The name of the top wine from the estate, Aragone, recalls the Spanish heritage of the area.
