Description
A very pretty green/golden color. The nose being fragrant with honey and spices: the mouth sumptuous and rich, with elegant middle palate and lovely texture, bounce, finesse and silkiness.
Ideal with grilled seafood (prawns), Foie Gras and blue cheese.
The Meursault 1er Cru Sous le Dos d’Âne (Récolte du Domaine) is showing very well, opening in the glass with a youthful bouquet of green pear, fresh peach, nutmeg, pastry cream and crushed chalk, followed by a medium to full-bodied, racy and incisive palate, with a pretty core of fruit, a bright spine of acidity and a long, precise finish.
