Explosive nose of candied citrus, popcorn, chalk, oak, exotic peachy and tangerine notes as well. Viscous and rich on the palate, somewhat low acidity. Definitely big chard, but a hot vintage. I guessed it to be an 06 or 08 Chassagne. The Puligny characteristics of racy lime juice were dulled by the warmth, but overall an impressive effort!
The first thing that caught my mind was popcorn with butter. Fresh and high acidity. Notes of yellow apples and lime. Very good!
