Roux Bourgogne Pinot Noir is an idyllic, pure expression of the Burgundy’s native red grape varietal. Supple and structured, yet lively on the palate with its vibrant acidity, this wine offers a bouquet of berries which evolved over time into preserved fruit aromas. Subtle peppery and earthy tones follow on the finish. Fermented on the lees and aged a few months in stainless steel tanks, enjoy this wine in its youth for maximum flavor expression.
Love the rose petal and cherry nose on the Pinot! Some fresh turned earth after spring rain too. On the palate, there’s lots of acidity and mouth-watering juicy action with much tarter cherry notes. Medium-bodied, smooth with a good finish. Decent price for Burgundy.
