Description
Very seductive and spicy, this full-bodied wine has enticing aromas of baking spices and toasted oak, with lavish flavors of chocolate and blackberry jam that seem to coat the tongue. The ripe feel seems to soften the thick layer of tannin, so it’s approachable now.
This syrah is full of blackberry, anise, white pepper and cigar notes on the nose, followed by layered flavors of black raspberry and sweet oak on the palate. A splash of petite sirah adds density and richness. Drink over the next 5-7 years.
