Description
Its hefty bottle foretells of its muscular flavor; 22 months of French oak aging has resulted in aromas of cinnamon, cocoa, and ginger, along with raspberry, boysenberry, and dried plum – just the thing for pasta with a spicy marinara sauce. Or a Philly steak sandwich. We recommend decanting at least 30 minutes before serving.
One of the most widely grown grape varieties, it can be found in nearly every wine growing region. A cross between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc. It’s a hardy vine that produces a full-bodied wine with high tannins and great aging potential.
