Description
This is a full-bodied red blend with layers of dried cherry, ripe plum, sweet spice and savoury herbs on the palate.Lots of cherry and some raspberry on the nose, smooth, but with plenty of acidity and not sweet as some full-bodied red wines. A touch of bitterness at the very end, but not unpleasant. Some integrated tannins, but subtle
Pair with grilled meats and happiness.
Ripasso Valpolicella Superiore food pairings: pizza topped with steak strips and garlic, spicy sausage, prime rib roast, hearty winter stew.
