Description
Great random find at the 99 cent store! Not as bad as I thought it would be for the price and the age. Hints of ripe peaches on the nose, with dusty earth. Vanilla, slightly sweet apricot on the palate, some earth, with a bitter juniper finish.
It’s showing it’s age a little bit (okay, a lot), but I think this is a varietal to revisit in a much younger vintage. Lots of VA, though, in this bottle, but not undrinkable. Now if you will excuse me, I shall soak with my book. And bubbles. Lots of bubbles.
