Description
To taking a snow day, no matter the season.
This sake is named after Hanako, or “Flower Maiden”, the most famous Japanese koi fish that lived for 226 years in the snowy, icy waters at the foot of Japan’s Mt. Ontake.
EAT WITH
Spicy foods like curry or spicy tuna poke. Or your favorite spicy sushi roll.
Sake is traditionally sipped out of an ochoko but don’t be afraid to try your sake out of other drinking vessels including a wine glass, coffee mug, or straight out of the bottle.
Pro Tip: flip your bottle upside down a few times to mix your cloudy sake to perfection before serving.
