Description
Mâcon Villages is the classic South Burgundy Chardonnay from vineyards around Mâcon and 26 villages in the area – hence the name! No oak here, just 8 months ageing in tanks to get this round and supple wine, with aromas of ripe apple, peach and flower.
It has a nice minerality and some freshness provided by the clayey soils of the Mâconnais. The finish is surprisingly long with hints of citrus and spice. Great for an aperitif or with seafood.
