Named for the proprietor/winemaker’s favorite two roses, the flowers not the wine, this is indeed a wholly floral experience, subtle and delicately crafted to exude wild strawberry, orange and lime. Dry and refreshingly crisp in acidity, it’s a light take on beautiful complexity.
Wine Review: This light coral colored Rose opens with a mild tangerine and gentle apricot bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mineral infused tangerine and gentle apricot blend. I also detected a hint of lime. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This Rose is food friendly and would pair well with pan fried sea bass. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Named in honor of Julie’s two favorite roses on property: Ingrid Bergman & Julia Child. It’s a “beautiful wine with a spicy accent. Intense strawberry aromas with playful citrus zest. This wine is reminiscent of a Provencal style, dedicated rose—fermented dry with perfect acidity and alcohol levels for food pairing!
