Vina Mayor Ribera del Duero Crianza 2015 750ml

Description

Viña Mayor Crianza is a red wine from Ribera del Duero, a single-variety Tempranillo, produced by the Viña Mayor winery.

The grapes they use are selected and harvested by hand to avoid squashing the grapes. They use 300 kilo boxes to transport them to the winery’s facilities and the grapes are de-stemmed carefully before starting the vinification process.

The fermentation of the de-stemmed grape is carried out in stainless steel tanks, with a controlled temperature and constant pumping over. After post-fermentation maceration, Viña Mayor Crianza finishes production with a period of ageing.

Viña Mayor Crianza ages for twelve months in oak barrels and is eventually refined for a minimum of another year in the bottle before being sold.
