Description
Bright medium ruby. Very pure scents of black cherry, bitter chocolate and minerals convey a stonier impression than Le Corton. Densely packed, classically dry and quite primary, with aeration bringing a restrained sweetness and excellent mineral lift.
Very precise and airy in the middle palate, with a firmly structured, slowly mounting finish displaying terrific energy. This makes the Le Corton seem a bit common by comparison.
