Brilliant golden color. Round and savory with great depth and complexity. Honey, honeysuckle, peach, rocks, and touch of almond. Reserved yet with lively acidity. 12 months in oak barrel with 40% new. Sitting at 660 feet, Les Charmois is one of the better plots in Saint Aubin with pebbly red clay-limestone soil and southeast exposure.
Has been a while since I have a decent Cote de Beau Chardonnay! Subtle mineral and almond peel aroma on the nose. Round and full body and nice texture. Elegant oak influence with some honeydew and caramel notes on the palate. Tropical fruit finishing but with nice balance with the minerality
