Description
Riesling is the dominant grape variety, accounting for 65% of the estate’s vineyard area. They also produce the three Pinot varieties (Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir), as well as Silvaner. In addition, small quantities of Scheurebe, Chardonnay and some minor varieties are grown.
Served from magnum. This Gutswein-level Riesling delivers a stunning impression. Traditional fermentation in large wooden barrels. Yellow color. Nose and palate is dominated by citrus, grapefruit and herbs and fruity aromas. Focused, almost salty, limestone minerality and awesome acidity and balance. Uncomplicated but very nice juice.
