Ritchie is famous for its concentration and this wine is no exception. Partial malolactic fermentation retained focus and freshness while sur lie aging in 100% new French barrels contributed texture and density.
Although this Chardonnay is opulent and deeply-strucutred, it’s also just plain fun to drink. Our team has never “barrel sampled” a wine more than this one. Fortunately, we got a hold of ourselves before bottling.
