This Cabernet-Malbec blend is a joint project between Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) and Nicolas Catena. With ripe fruit flavors enhanced by complex cedar and earthy notes, this marries the best of Bordeaux and the new world at a fantastic price.
Amancaya, as its elder, presented an harmonious balance between the Argentinean and Bordeaux styles. A more fruity style coming from the higher percentage of Malbec. The word AMANCAYA is the native indian name of a flower of the Andes that you can find in the Mendoza area.
