Nice Bourgueil. Red fruit smell with an alcoholic grape push Characteristic earthy grasse bourgeuil taste but a very nice clear finish. Great on veal and pasta.
The Revillot wines are complex in aroma, silky and sultry in texture, and completely transparent in terroir expression. These are bright and crystalline examples of an appellation that can sometimes display more massive, sturdy and structured wines. Aurélien’s reputation is already well-established in France and this is definitely a domaine to watch.
Fresh and open, with sandalwood, woodsy spice, floral and dried sage notes surrounding the core of blackberry and pomegranate flavors. A savory, loamy streak flashes on the finish.
