Description
2017 was the warmest vintage on record in Washington State, though this higher elevation vineyard was a crucial counter-balance to the heat and enabled us to pick in late-October. The site received a lot of water, maximising the canopy and shading the Riesling fruit, which delayed ripening and preserved lots of natural acidity.
The summer duvet is out and that BBQ is starting to call from the shed. It’s time to hunt out the shorts you bought last year (hopefully they still fit), sit back and enjoy a summer tipple.
