The terroir of Fronsac closely resembles the clay and limestone soils found in the highly sought after wines from Saint Emilion without the hefty price tag. With most of these wines being consumed locally only about 25% of wines are exported. A rare find and great value from this boutique producer and absolutely worth a try. Red Wine. Merlot, Cabernet Franc. Ruby red in color, with aromas of red and black fruits, toasted nuts, and a floral undertone. Balanced on the palate with a lovely lingering finish of red fruit, black pepper, and cocoa.
