Description
It’s a high rye roller all the way through, heavy on the nose with buttercream, rich caramel, and toffee, heavy tobacco, and bright pepper with a French toast note – lovely, sweet brioche notes with maple syrup layer after layer. The palate is rich and viscous, syrupy with rich oak, toffee, heavy cream, and sweet maple once more. Decadent baking spice and more oak stand tall with this release. Touch of cocoa and espresso on the finish before rich tobacco, heavy demerara, and a hint of barrel char slam on the finish. Hell of a first release for Hirsch in our program.
